Birla Mandir, also known as the Laxminarayan Temple, was built in 1939 by the industrialist Birla family and inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, it is renowned for its white marble interiors, intricate carvings, and colorful frescoes depicting scenes from Hindu mythology.
