About Jama Masjid
Jama Masjid, built by Emperor Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656, is one of the largest mosques in India. Capable of accommodating over 25,000 worshippers, it stands as a magnificent example of Mughal architecture. Constructed from red sandstone and white marble, it features three grand domes and two towering minarets offering panoramic views of Old Delhi.
