Bada Bagh

Bada Bagh, meaning “Big Garden,” is a hauntingly beautiful site filled with intricately carved sandstone cenotaphs. Built by Maharawal Jait Singh in the early 16th century, it served as the royal memorial ground. Each chhatri is dedicated to a former ruler of Jaisalmer, offering a glimpse into the city’s regal past. Its elevated location provides panoramic views of the surrounding desert.
